The Stellenbosch and Helderberg Eisteddfods give poised and confident children the opportunity to showcase their talents in individual poetry, prose, prepared and unprepared reading, as well as music.

Characterisation work is sometimes presented and occasionally, strong classes may enter a "themed" concert piece or prepare choral verse. Individual music students, ensembles and both the Preparatory's Choirs also form part of the Eisteddfods' regular entries.
