The annual Grade 6 Baseball social proved to be another successful event! Parents and siblings gathered to witness the battle of the baseball - an annual competitive baseball match between the two Grade 6 classes. This year, many eyes were raised as Mrs van Tonder's boys pranced around the field in dresses and girlie clothes.  They had chosen to cross dress - girls dressed as boys while the boys dressed as girls. Miss Barry's class wore baseball caps and red t-shirts. Tempers raged as the "girls" dived for each base! At the end, it was Miss Barry's class who won although the jury is still out whether the match was fair.... they did play against an entire girls' team!
