It was a very moving and humbling experience for the huge audience who attended the combined choirs concert in St Matthew's Chapel. Somerset College Prep hosts this amazing event every two years and it really does not disappoint! Choirs from Beaumont, Hendrik Louw, Tereo, Maccassar Primary, as well as the two Prep school choirs joined forces to produce a very special evening of Christmas celebrations. To hear so many children's voices, from such diverse backgrounds, all singing in unison is something truly beautiful. The collection taken up after the concert raised over R7000 for the Tereo Mission School- the most we have raised. Many thanks to Mrs Ronel Viljoen and all the Prep music staff for their hard work and commitment- it was certainly worthwhile!
